Welcome to the Official Site of the Nassau Bay Volunteer Fire Department. Founded in 1967, our department has a long tradition of dedicated volunteers and some of the best equipment in the fire service. We are located in Harris County, Texas directly across the street from NASA Johnson Space Center. We provide fire and rescue services to the citizens of Nassau Bay and surrounding communities.

Our website has information about our department, it's history, our apparatus and our members. We have also provided some tips on fire prevention, links to City of Nassau Bay resources and other fire service related sites as well as a photo gallery highlighting our service and the members who serve.

Our News page has updated information about upcoming events and recent calls we have responded to.

Please take a look around our website. We hope you find useful information. If you have any questions or comments please contact us.

On Wednesday April 25th the NBVFD received the OSPRA Award from the Texas General Land Office.

The NBVFD received the award for it's response to a Oil Spill from a sunken tug boat in the Nassau Bay area.
